Through the DOOR, we see several richly appointed REVELLERS who seem oblivious to her plight. Outside, a dead TREE rises from the arid soil; the DAY is bright. There is BLOOD on the glass DOOR. The WOMAN looks desperate, on the edge of hysteria. Arc. 25: Two LOVERS embrace in a clearing; the MAN's back is to us. The WOMAN's teeth are in the MAN's shoulder, which is covered in BLOOD. The TREES surrounding the clearing are stately and beautiful; it is DUSK. A crescent MOON is in the sky at top right. Both of the LOVERS' eyes are closed.
